In discussing degrees and majors, there has been an increase in the number of discussions about what is a "best" degree. Now, of course, there's no 100% best way to say what is best. You can only bring statistics and such into the discussion, as past that, it's all personal preference. However, we've found that some degrees often get passed over in discussions, and we don't feel this is fair to these degrees. So, here are our most underrated picks, in 1-2 sentences.
Super dynamic degree with a diverse set of options in finance, tech, and other areas. Allows you to basically follow any path, as math is becoming the next "big thing", and the world will increasingly be run on math and data.
People often get business degrees, when they should be specializing. SCM is a really great area to major, as it's an area that basically every company with a product needs, and in a constantly changing business environment, having consistent supply chains is really critical.
Same reason as applied math.
Heavily increasing due to how much the world is shifting towards green energy and sustainable future, these types of engineers are going to be heavily needed.
Pharmacies and pharmacy school has fallen out of favor for doctors and pre-meds, and it's a real shame. We have such a strong shortage of this job. It's well paid, with tons of different paths, and a pretty stable career path. After all, even in recession people still need their meds.
Physics is at first weird. After all, it's not an area you'd suspect a lot of growth. That would be wrong, as physics, like math, is critical to engineering, and is at the base of so many industries. Plus, employers think you're super smart.
